Wednesday 20, 2011

Today was the day that we had to fly back to Idaho and become official adults. I had a blast with the Eldredge family. They are great people and I love them all a lot. I was glad to get them and my family together in one place too. Mom picked us up from the Salt Lake Airport and drove back to Rexburg. Now my life really begins.

This morning me, Paul, Kendra, and Mama Eldredge played Boggle. It was fun making up words. I only got 2 points but had a blast. Later that night we made Chinese food. Sorry I have forgotten about today too.

Melissa got asked to her church prom yesterday and so we spent a lot of today looking for a nice and cheap prom dress. We drove around a couple of places and finally found one that she liked and fit her through Craig’s List. She looks good in it. I however am not a big fan of shopping. The rest of the day we played games, ate pizza, and watched a movie. (If I remember more of what happened I’ll let you know)

Today we went to church. It was good but I was also having a hard time concentrating. I need to get some more sleep and try to get my mind to stop wandering (if that’s possible). I was writing Kendra a note in Relief Society and wanted to say LDS but I accidently wrote LSD (like the drug). That’s what happens when you take Brother Hopla’s drugs class. Church was good though.

I was able to take a big nap which was very much needed. I love Sunday afternoon naps. Also that night we played one of my favorite card games…Hand and Foot. Me, Paul, and Wendi were on a team and we got SMASHED!!! It was fun though. The rest of the night we hung out.

Today was the 100th birthday party for Grandpa Ferrin. His actual birthday is Monday but it was just easier for those who had to work to have it today. Me, Kendra, Papa Eldredge, Mama Eldredge, and Melissa drove to Pima. There were a lot of family and friends that showed up to wish him Happy Birthday. Talk about a big milestone. He looks good for being 100. It made me miss Grandpa Johns a lot. They are both life time ranchers and look a lot alike.

Me, Kendra, Melissa, and Papa Eldredge then went to another nearby town to look at headstones of their ancestors. We didn’t find who we were looking for but it was good. Kendra also took some pictures of Melissa for her upcoming high school graduation. We then drove back to Avondale and played cards then went to sleep.

I should have kept better notes about what happened during our trip because the only thing that I can remember that we did today was eat dinner with Diana Hathaway at Zamora’s (a Mexican restraunt in Avondale) This has become a tradition every time we come down to visit. If I remember more about what happened today I’ll let you know.
